Ruben founded Goldberg, Alerhand & Associates in 2003, together with David Alerhand.
From 1999 to 2003, Ruben was CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Republic National Bank (México). After Republic National Bank was acquired by HSBC, Ruben continued as the Vice Chairman and CEO for Investment Banking.
From 1984 to 1998, he was the representative in México and a non-executive member of the board of NM Rothschild & Sons Ltd. (London) and the Head and President of NM Rothschild & Sons (México).
During the period 1981 to 1984, he served as Vice President, Area Head, and Representative of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (México).
Prior to that, from 1974 to 1981, Ruben held various positions in the Corporate Banking division of Bank of America (México).
Ruben currently serves as a board member in various private sector companies, financial entities and philanthropic institutions.
Ruben graduated summa cum laude from the National University of México with a Public Accountant Degree and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (Fulbright-Hayes Scholar).
From 2000 to 2003, David was Director of Deutsche Bank Mexico where he was responsible for developing the investment banking practice of the bank in the region.
Prior to that, from 1992 to 1999, he was Director in NM Rothschild & Sons (México), where he was responsible for origination and execution of a wide range of projects in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, placements of private equity, and restructurings.
From 1989 to 1992, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co.
David has taught courses in Economics and Corporate Finance as an invited Professor at ITAM (México) and at Universidad Anáhuac in México City.
He has served as a board member in various private sector companies, financial entities and non-for-profit education institutions.
David graduated summa cum laude from ITAM (México) with a degree in Economics, participated in an exchange program at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Jose has been part of the Goldberg & Alerhand team since 2015, being involved in multiple transactions across industries such as hospitality, real estate, financial, steel processing, IT, packaging, automotive, nuclear medicine, among others.
Before joining G|A, Jose worked as a financial advisor at Grupo Bursátil Mexicano (GBM), a Mexican brokerage firm. Before joining the financial industry, Jose co-founded Rompiendo el Hielo, a company that provides rental services of synthetic ice rinks across Mexico.
Jose holds a degree in Finance from the Universidad Iberoamericana.
Prior to G|A, Peter worked at FGA Investment Banking, where he participated in transactions in sectors including telecom, agribusiness, financial, real estate, retail food & beverage, among others.
Formerly, he was focused on the entrepreneur world, where he co-founded Attento, a startup that provides technological health care solutions for the elderly.
Peter holds a Business Management and Computer Engineer Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He also completed a Diploma in User Experience and Technological Applications Design from ITAM.
Before joining Goldberg & Alerhand she worked in Galileo Investment Fund, together with Ruben Goldberg, Oscar Alerhand and David Alerhand.
In 2014 Esther worked at Masari Casa de Bolsa S.A, in the area of promotion and analysis, purchase of foreign exchange, construction of diversified portfolios and administration of fixed income.
Prior, she worked in Fundación ProEmpleo. A foundation that helps promote business education in Mexico, helping to develop projects of all type. Esther was in charge of the areas of analysis and finance. Helping customers get balance points and price allocation.
From April 2010 to January 2011 Esther worked for Culinary Group. A family business running a group of restaurants. She was in charge of cost management; and was responsible for new dishes costing and pricing.
Esther holds a degree in Finance from the Universidad Iberoamericana.
Prior to joining G|A Jaime worked at Citi analyzing and ensuring the effectiveness of the P&L, as well as executing the valuation of different fixed income market instruments. He was also responsible for reporting the revenue and enterprise value of the Fixed Income businesses for the NAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions.
Previously he was part of the Fibra HoteleraS.C team, in Finance and Accounting, where he oversaw analyzing and comparing the main KPIs of the hotel industry with that of other REIT´s of the same sector.
In 2016 he was a volunteer for the American Benevolent Society, in which he contributed to the U.S. citizens residing in Mexico to fulfill their vote for the presidential elections, as well as collaborating in different aspects in the administrative area within the institution.
Jaime holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a master's degree in Data Analytics fromISDI.
Daniela has been working with Goldberg & Alerhand since 2012, she is in charge of organizing office operations and procedures.
Before joining G&A, Daniela worked as an interpreter, translator and assistant at International Affairs in the General Customs Administrations of Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and as a freelance translator.
Danielas holds a degree in Languages from the Angloamericano University
